​Kula Means Community

At Copenhagen Yoga Kula, our focus is on creating and supporting community. We do this by keeping our class sizes small, and dedicating more individual attention to every student.

You will always know your teacher, and your teacher will always know you and your practice.

This also allows Our Tribe to get to know one another better and to grow together.

All in-studio and online classes are taught in English.

 

Hatha

A yoga class described as ‘Hatha’ will typically involve asanas (yoga poses) combined with breathing techniques, practiced at a slow pace, holdings static postures for five to seven breaths.

Yin Yoga

A Yin Yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that target deep connective tissue (fascia). The poses are held for up to five minutes using deep breathing techniques. Holding poses without distraction for several minutes teaches us to relax, allows us to release tension, and relieves stress. 

 

Strength & Sculpt

This Strength & Sculpt Yoga class is a combination of Vinyasa Flow and bodyweight training techniques designed to boost your heart rate and challenge your practice. Great for improving flexibility, mobility, and strength. Some classes will include weights/props.

Prenatal Yoga

Slow Flow

Slow flow is a creative form of vinyasa yoga emphasizing slower transitions that will build strength and focus. Poses are linked together with the breath and focused on anatomical awareness. The class wraps up with soothing poses down on the mat.

Great for yogis who are looking to slow down and dive deeper into their vinyasa practice.

 

Strong Flow

 This Vinyasa Strong Flow practice will get you moving! The term "vinyasa" refers to the synchorinization of movement with the breath, so you’ll move from one pose to the next using the inhalation and exhalation.This class is great for those who want to build heat, to energize and strengthen their bodies.

Gentle Hatha

In our Gentle Hatha class, we take the practice a little slower. We use low intensity poses and spend more time on alignment, focus, and meditation. 

A great starting point for beginners and building block for seasoned practitioners.

Hatha + Yin

Our special 75-minute class, a Tribe favorite!

 

A combination of breathwork, traditional hatha, meditative yin yoga. Designed to help you ease into the week relaxed and restored.
